Everything we get asked, answered plainly.
Organised by topic. If something's missing, ask in the Mini App support chat.
General
What exactly does Arbii do?
Arbii pools depositor capital into a single on-chain vault on Hyperliquid and runs a delta-neutral funding-rate arbitrage strategy: shorting a perpetual future and holding an equal long spot position, so price moves cancel between the two legs while the structural hourly funding payment accrues. It is capturing a payment, not predicting a direction.
Why Telegram, and not a normal web app?
Telegram is the identity layer: no separate account, no password to manage, no email/OTP dance to just log in. Your wallet lives inside the Mini App and is unlocked with a passcode or biometrics you set yourself. The chat is only used for notifications; you never type commands.
Is there a track record yet?
Not yet, and we're not going to show you a backtest dressed up as one. Once the vault is live, every trade, deposit, withdrawal, fee and affiliate payment will render with its transaction hash, linked to the block explorer, so you can verify performance directly on-chain rather than trusting a number in an app.
Is Arbii available in my country?
Arbii is not offered to residents of jurisdictions where participation in this kind of product is restricted or prohibited. See the Terms of Use for the current position, and use your own judgement about local law before depositing.
Security & custody
What does 'non-custodial' actually mean here?
It means our backend cannot authorise a withdrawal. Your passcode derives a decryption key on your own device, which unlocks your wallet's key share locally. The raw passcode and the derived key never reach our servers; we hold a verifier only, so we can rate-limit login attempts, not sign on your behalf.
So is this fully decentralised?
Custody, withdrawal rights, trade settlement, fee calculation and affiliate payments are on-chain and independently verifiable. The strategy engine and wallet infrastructure are centralised systems we operate. "Fully decentralised" would be an inaccurate claim for this product, so we're not making it.
Do I ever see or need a seed phrase?
No. There is no seed phrase, anywhere in the flow. Recovery instead uses your verified email plus a recovery code generated on your device and shown to you once. Both are required to recover access.
What if I lose my phone or forget my passcode?
Recovery requires your verified email and your recovery code together. If you never saved the recovery code, tell us in the Mini App support flow before you need it. It's the one step we genuinely cannot undo after the fact.
Why does a withdrawal sometimes ask for an emailed code?
Above a value threshold, or whenever you're sending to a new address for the first time, we require a second factor: an 8-character code emailed to your verified address, enforced at the signing layer rather than just checked by an app screen. Saved addresses under the threshold stay one-tap.
Can Arbii's team see my balance?
Vault-wide figures (total value, aggregate positions) are visible to operate the strategy. Your individual balance and activity are handled the same way any custodian of that data should: not sold, not shared, and not exposed to anyone you've referred. See the Privacy Policy.
Deposits & withdrawals
Which chains and assets can I use?
USDC and USDT from Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche and Tron. Everything is routed to settle as USDC on HyperEVM, where the vault lives.
What does a deposit cost?
Routing at cost: whatever the underlying bridge charges, shown to you as a network fee before you confirm. We don't add a margin on top of deposits; friction at the moment money is coming in works against everyone.
What does a withdrawal cost?
Routing at cost, plus a 0.25% service fee. You'll always see the exact amount you'll receive before you confirm: never a flat fee that quietly eats a disproportionate chunk of a small withdrawal.
My deposit shows as 'bridging'. Is something wrong?
No. Cross-chain deposits are asynchronous and the status moves through detected → bridging → swapping → complete. Bridges can occasionally take longer than expected; the status screen reflects reality rather than a spinner with no information.
Can I lose access to funds mid-bridge?
The funds are in transit on well-audited bridge infrastructure during that window, the same as any cross-chain transfer. Once detected, it's tracked end-to-end in the Mini App with its transaction hash at every step.
Fees
What does membership cost?
$99/month or $990/year (two months free on annual). Membership is required to deposit new capital, but never required to withdraw. Even a lapsed membership keeps full withdrawal rights.
How is the 20% performance fee actually calculated?
Per-depositor, on your own profit only, using your personal cost basis, not a vault-wide watermark. If you join after a drawdown, you don't pay fees on gains earned before you arrived, and you pay nothing while underwater. The rate is capped at 30% forever, and any change requires 48 hours' notice before it applies.
What happens in a flat or losing month?
You pay membership and routing costs with no performance fee to offset them, because there's no profit to take 20% of. This is a normal, expected feature of a funding-rate strategy, not a malfunction we'd bury in fine print.
Strategy & risk
What is funding-rate arbitrage, in plain terms?
Perpetual futures have no expiry date, so exchanges use an hourly funding payment to keep the perpetual price tethered to the spot price. When more traders are long than short, funding is positive and longs pay shorts. Arbii shorts the perpetual and holds an equal long spot position. The two price exposures cancel out, and what's left is the funding payment.
Is this risk-free?
No. Funding rates can compress or flip sign mid-position, the two legs can diverge temporarily even while 'neutral' in aggregate, and a sharp move can pressure a thinly-margined perpetual leg. Spot liquidity on Hyperliquid is currently the weakest link in the trade and is being tested carefully with real capital before scaling size.
What return should I expect?
We won't give you a number, and treat anyone who does with suspicion. Historically this class of strategy has produced high-single-digit to roughly 20% annualised returns in normal conditions, better in high-funding regimes and near zero when funding is flat. That describes the market, not a promise about your money.
Can I control which trades the vault takes?
No. The vault holds one pooled position on behalf of everyone in it at once; there's no per-user trade approval. What you control is whether you're in, how much capital you commit, and when you leave.
Is there a cap on how much the vault can manage?
Yes. A deposit cap is enforced on-chain during the early phase. This strategy's capacity ceiling hasn't been found yet, and it's better found with the operator's own capital than depositors'.
Affiliate programme
How much do I earn for a referral?
20% of every membership payment your referral makes, for as long as they stay a member: $19.80 on a $99 monthly payment, $198 on a $990 annual payment. It's a single tier, so you earn from people you refer directly, with no sub-affiliate structure underneath you.
How and when do I get paid?
Atomically, in the same on-chain transaction as your referral's membership payment. There's no claim button, no payout queue, and no step that can fail to pay. It settles as part of the transaction itself.
Can I see what my referrals deposit or earn?
No, and this is deliberate. You see referral status (signed up, membership active, renewed), never their balances, P&L or withdrawal activity. Someone you referred should never have to worry about you knowing their financial details.
Ready to put your capital to work?
Open Arbii in Telegram, set your passcode, and you're ready to deposit. No browser wallet, no seed phrase, no waiting on a form.
